The thing I would caution you to remember is that the landscape of porn is rapidly changing. Mainstream is dying. People aren’t buying dvds as much as they used to. Where people *are* buying porn is from individual performers, who are more often than not producing their own work so that they have both creative control over their scenes and also reap more of the benefits directly. This has also had the end result of women being more likely to purchase porn, because they feel the work is more ethically created (which is often true, though there will always be issues with any type of labour under white supremacist capitalist patriarchy!)
